E-Voting Fouls Up AGAIN

Category: Hot Off The Presses

Tuesday, March 9, 2004

Yet another e-voting snafu -- this time it's in Orange County, California, where bad ballots resulted in several races polling more than 100% turnout.

The bad news from my perspective? The vendor behind the faulty systems in this case was Hart InterCivic, who you may recall I noted was also behind the e-voting system in Alexandria, VA. So these yutzes could lose my vote, too. Huzzah!

(Thanks to Sandy Smith for the pointer.)

If that's too hard to understand... well, I'm sorry. There's only so much I can do. I'm not a therapist, and I'm not a miracle worker. I wish I could help you work through your delusional belief that I'm speaking for anyone else but myself. Honestly, I do. But in the end, that's a monkey you'll have to get off your back on your own. Sorry.
