Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy

I just got back from seeing the movie version of one of my favorite books of all time, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Capsule review:

  1. Don't Panic. It's not bad. In fact in many places it's quite good. There is lots of stuff from the books that's left out, but that's to be expected when you squeeze three books into a 2-hour screenplay. And the material that's original to the screenplay is pretty good, too.
  2. I am officially, insanely, irretrievably in love with Zooey Deschanel.

That is all.

I love Zooey, too. She's also in that movie... what's it called... the one with Kate Hudson. Shoot. She's that prodigy writer boy's older sister. Cameron Crowe. Oh well, you know what I mean. I've loved her since that movie. She is one of the prettiest people I have ever laid eyes on.

ALMOST FAMOUS! That's the name of the movie.

Ah, yes. She was excellent in "Almost Famous".

And in "Big Trouble"...

And "The Good Girl"...

She is really stinkin' cute.

I might start stalking her...

Back off, buddy. I saw her first.
