Ubuntu 8.04 (code name “Hardy Heron”) ships this week:
Lots of new features coming for Ubuntu and for Kubuntu. I can’t wait.

If you think anything I write here represents the opinions of anybody but myself, you need more help than I can give you. The opinions are all mine, folks. Nobody else's.
If that's too hard to understand... well, I'm sorry. There's only so much I can do. I'm not a therapist, and I'm not a miracle worker. I wish I could help you work through your delusional belief that I'm speaking for anyone else but myself. Honestly, I do. But in the end, that's a monkey you'll have to get off your back on your own. Sorry.
You are so much more of a geek than I am...
I have no idea of what you speak.
Then again, I'm more of a science nerd. :)
Ubuntu is the version of Linux that I run on my PC at home. It's an "operating system", which is to say it does what Windows or Mac OS X do.
It's free and SUPER AWESOME. If you want to try it yourself, you can download it and run it right off a CD without changing anything on your computer. If you don't like it, you just throw away the CD. If you DO like it, a double-click installs it on your PC.
